Software Excellence and Information Assurance, delivers DevSecOps capabilities that ensure fast, secure, and reliable software products across the entire development lifecycle. As we continue to expand our product scope, we are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and maintaining our DevSecOps ecosystem, collaborating closely with Research and Development teams to deliver seamless, efficient, and secure software from development through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our software factory using tools and techniques such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, containerization, and other CI/CD platforms.

• Collaborate with R&D teams to design and implement robust deployment and testing pipelines tailored to their needs.

• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows through custom scripts and tooling.

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues related to build failures, infrastructure bottlenecks, and network connectivity.

• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal impact on service availability.

• Maintain high levels of system uptime and reliability through proactive maintenance, patching, and optimization practices.

• Enhance scalability, resilience, and security of the software factory by researching and integrating emerging tools and technologies.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to refine processes, reduce downtime, and increase operational efficiency.

• Operate and maintain systems across multiple customer environments, ensuring consistent performance and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Proven experience working in DevSecOps environments with hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and similar platforms.

• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, Java, or Go.

• Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and infrastructure management.

• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools for automated provisioning and configuration management.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and operate large-scale systems in production environments with a focus on uptime, stability, and performance.

• Experience of operating systems in multiple customer environments is highly valued.

• Solid foundation in incident response, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting in complex distributed systems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

• A strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail, especially when dealing with high-pressure scenarios.
